The New Iraqi Airforce

As you all know, now that Iraq is american territory, what do you think the new iraqi airforce will have ?

Will it have american planes which i am sure the americans would want, ie so that they get the contracts and the profits. or will it be russian or chinese, to be honest i think that the Iraqis have had enough of war and russian/chinese kit, they will want something more useful and more technologically adavanced.

However saying this i would also like to add that i think there is alot of scope for other countries to rebuild the new iraqi airforce, planes such as india’s Late Combat Aircraft, pakistan/chinas JF-17/Super7/FC-1, lets not forget russia either russia who has good defence links with the old regime will want its hand in the fat iraqi pie aswell, there not just going to stand back and watch the americans and chinese get it all.

Overall i think its fair to say “if its not american, its no good”, i think that we can all agree that american planes are better than anything chinese or russian or indian or european, i mean put this in to perspective, Iraq will be able to get almost any american planes and it will have th cash from its oil to buy them, plus it will probably get a discount from the americans for being an ally in the region, also the US will want iraq to be able to handle itself from a dangerous iran.
