Richard Seeley is I think, one of the great unsung heroes of the British aircraft preservation world. Without his commitment I can think of at least three types (Travel Air Type R, Miles Whitney Straight and Morane Saulnier-built DH60M), which simply would not be around to grace our skies. And that’s not to mention his equally pristine DH80 Puss Moth, Bucker Jungmeister and taildragger Cessna.

Thank you Richard!!

That is a great looking aircraft. What engine and prop does it have? What was the cruise speed during testing? I believe the original was a pretty fast aeroplane for the time wiping the floor with all of the military aircraft of the time. Great achievement! Well done to all involved!

That it for this year… (Paul S and Larry )

Any more appearances planned for this year? I couldn’t make Sywell today, but would love to see it again.

Who was over from Hollister?

Thank you for your kind words Mike J. The only parts we us from the Frazier Lake project was the engine, the rest of it is in the long grass at Durley. Two gents from Frazier Lake came over to see it fly today at Sywell. It was a great day… G-TATR is back in the Hanger at B/D. We had a great team of people working on this project for Mr Richard Seeley the owner..

A Big thank you to all the LAA Team…

Whats Next……!

Simply stunning! Well done to all at Durley, a far cry from the project that left Frazier Lake a few years back.

What’s its status?
