The first thread was getting rather long and slow, so come on… Let’s see more!
My dog. 🙂

Some from The Azores a few weeks ago:

This was from another trip to Portugal last month. The sky was a stunning dark blue and there was something I just liked about the contrast here with the yellow.

And finally, this was my little home for the day on a concert in Portugal last Saturday, when the sound company very kindly gave me a Digico D5 which made me a very happy sound engineer!

There were some superb images coming through on the last thread, I’m looking forward to seeing more!

Looking at some of the photos on here I am ammazed that so many everyday objects which we take for granted can provide such interesting studies if only we have the ability to spot them. This is something I’ve been trying to achieve for years and never managed except by accident.

A particular favourite from a heavy horse event a couple of months ago…

The little guy wouldn’t let me come to him – but I let him come to me, and in the end he had his nose no more than two or three inches from my head!

That’s a fair comment Steve, I’ve known for a long time but I do my best to hide it. Obviously I’m not doing a very good job of it.

Looking at the subject of some those shots my wife would think I was mad if she saw me eying up shots like that.
She’d only be thinking what we all knew Mike!!

Without sounding too much like an **** kisser PMN you really do have a great eye for a striking Photo
Ha! Thankyou very much! 🙂
Yet more! It really has been a very productive month for me with photography. These were taken on a wander around Leeds with a kid I’m kinda teaching photography to (although what I can teach I’m not entirely certain).
I’m usually at my happiest wandering around on my own with a camera and my iPod in my ears, but it was actually nice to go through a few of the things I do with Jordan as I was shooting. Teaching someone else kind of makes you look at the ways you do things yourself, and that’s always a good thing.

Me shooting myself in a giant metal ball while Jordan probably wonders what the hell I’m doing…

A few from a wander round Whitby and Goathland yesterday… The weather was again rather kind!
I had a bit of a rust theme going on, although it wasn’t really intentional. I just loved the way the bright and clear sunlight brought all the various red and orange tones out.

Nice pics Daz. Like the cats. I find it amazing they can say so much without a single word.

Taken with the trusty K750i….
Pics of various four-legged friends taken on Monday, during all that glorious sunshine we had for once in bonny Scotland! 😀
The two horses in the field near my ex-work, taken last week. The one in the rug liked grooming me…!
Monday – one of the pair.
Falling asleep….
Zzzzzz…..
Big Ug on mum’s decking!

Toots catching some rays….
And a few from tonight…
Pepsi, a cat from around the corner from mum’s:
Up close and personal!
“Oh, hello!”
Queen of Sheba
“Right, you’ve taken your pictures, now piddle off!”
