the RCAF

I’m interested to know more about the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). Not only the RCAF is based over there, but also the NATO flight training school …
I’ve got some questions to think about.
1. I know they are flying CF 18’s, but could somebody explain me the biggest differences between the normal F/A 18’s from the USN/USMC and his canadian brother?
2. I read that Canada will be forced to buy JSF’s after their Hornets are withdrawn from use. How can the US control this.
3. How is the condition of the RCAF? Can it handle the NATO-standards or is the defence budget to low.
