Just an idle thought really, but how many Gnats are there in flying condition in this country? I know one or two have occasionally flown in formation with the Hawks but I just wondered whether it was actually possible to have 9 in the air at once?

There are currently 4 that have permits according to the CAA database.

I dont think that would be possible, there 2 airworthy at NW, along with one complete but left outside and it looks abit battered, plus theres a dismantled one on site.
That leaves 2 airworthy and 2 not, i dont know what the state is a DH aviation but you would certainly not get 9
