The mods just moderate. Keys just provides.
Believe the problem lies in the actual forum program having the words pre-chosen, since whilst some words have been freed from their vulgar connotations others, including the shortened Richard and Bentw@ers, are off limits.
Who is offended by the word D!ck these days?

Flood

So what is the problem with ben****ers, if the march issue of flypast can print it.
Phil. 🙂
definitely going to E mail Keys about this.

What i’d like to know is just who decides these things, is it the mods or is it keys, because if i came from one of these towns and the name was edited
like this all the time i would not be pleased 😡

I find it surprising that I can type “Stoke-on-Trent” and “Biddulph” without censorship

They should definitely always be censored.

It is fair to say the stuff went to scrap. The spade grip suffered terribly from being in sal****er for even a short period. In fact all the stuff was corroded.

Why cant we say salt-water **** “tea double-u ay tea”

There was a guy with a trade stand at Fairford about 10 years ago who was selling off bits of engine, mostly small & polished piston & cylinder pieces for keyrings .I wanted a compleat & unpolished piston which he said he could supply, he never got back to me

His name is John Manning and I am sure he would provide what you want as he is a nice chap

Yes Stormbird, the aircraft’s remains were recovered, and were featured for component identification purposes by John Beattie as part of the RNHF Sea Fury video/DVD.
