El doctor, have you shot in film and in digital?… or just film? Just curious.
Digital. Various cameras along the time, with a GoPro for in-flight shots.

In 2005, a movie was released.
Some should say there’s a huge difference between the Mirage 2000C with RDI radar depicted in this movie and the 2000-5 RDY operated by the Storks. That’s why the pilots of the squadron proudly adorn their flight suit with the “mica power” patch π

I agree with you all excellent pictures and where are Tanguy et Laverdure? Over here it was a comic by the way.

I realize I remember it in b&w because we had a b&w tv π
The series was in full colour of course.
I just found episode 1 of season 1 (1967), for 26 minutes of nostalgia:

The TV series was based on the comics “Les Chevaliers du ciel” (first pub. in 1959):

It was also published in the UK as “The Flying Furies” (1966):

In 2005, a movie was released. It was so-so, but the real gem was in the DVD extras – they contained one of the most beautiful sequences of aerial photography I have seen, featuring breathtaking shots of the Mirage 2000.
A promo of the movie is available on YouTube:

Cheers.

Excellent b&w dramatic pix. Reminds me of the original Tanguy et Laverdure TV series from the late 60’s. The Mirage 2000 is a classic. A nice evolution of the original III.
Thank you.
