The Su-30MK and F-18E a good combo?

it seems that what the Malaysians will be doing, with their purchase of the F-18E Super Burger and the Su-30MKM..

the former being a great strike active with a wide range of A2G muntions (especially cheap guided munitions) as well as maintenance costs

and the Su-30MKM..which according to posts here will be somewhat similar to the MKI but using primarily Thales avionics.. and regarded as one of the best 4th generation air superiority fighter..

quite a good combo? Quite an expensive one though.
