The first batch of participants has been released for the Gรถteborg (Gothenburg) Aero Show on August 29-30, 2009: Aeroseum website
The core is the Swedish Air Force and it’s Historic Flight association. The J 29 Flying Barrel, the J 32 Lansen and J 35 Draken are all set to fly, as well as the Gripen. This year will also see the long awaited return of the Team 60, flying the Saab 105 jet trainers.
On the vintage side, Mikael Carlson will bring his immaculate Blรฉriot XI and his new Fokker DR-1 with original engine. Biltema will display the Cavalier P-51 Mustang and their “new” Spitfire Mk XVIII (SM845). Also a good batch of Tiger Moths, Cubs, Saab Safirs, Harvards, An-2, Dakota, choppers, aerobatics, gliders and you name it… all in all more than 60 flying vehicles.
And… if you haven’t visited the Aeroseum inside the rock cavern, you’re in for a treat!
Check out UKAR’s review from last year’s show.
Welcome to Sweden! ๐

In these days of financial crisis I guess I better drop by and spend some of the wealth we Norwegian oil barons pump up every day, just to help out our less fortunate neighbors… ๐
