The T-2/F-1`s Sepecat Jaguar connection

I wonder what proves the fact that the F-1/T-2 naval strike fighter designed in Japan has an evident Sepecat connection.

looking for certain links in the two programs besides the engines and general configuration.

It is acknowledged that the F-1/T2 designer Dr Kenji Ikeda used the Sepecat Jaguar as basis.

what i do not know is how it was? was it tech transfer or aerodynamic fashion, when and how Kenji Ikeda did manage to model the F-1/T-2 upon the Sepecat Jaguar? DOES ANYONE KNOWS THE WHOLE ACCOUNT?
