The recently re-visited verchocq thread got me thinking (dangerous, tis true). Would an airpark like that work in the UK? If so, where? Would it be better to have an airfield village down south where the money is, or ‘oop’ north where the cheaper land and emptier airspace is… I know none of us have any money left, and the whole economy is down the pan, but it won’t last forever…

‘Woodford’ ex AVRO works Airfield , springs to mind closing down shortly and there’s no shortage of wealth around Cheshire , the neighbours should be used to air traffic with ‘Nimrods’ and local Manchester Airport Traffic overhead .,
