Johnny Kidd did some songwriting with his manager Guy Robinson – so the credits on some of his songs read ‘Heath, Robinson’ – always used to make me smile : )

The pirates song I posted last night reminded me about their original singer Freddie Heath (AKA Johnny Kidd ) – he had a great voice and sadly died as a passenger in a car crash in 1966.
