trying to take a nice aerial photo of the English countryside, then up pops a Lanc, Damn planes…..

Probably why the Lanc ‘popped’ up in front of his plane…the British pilots were’nt used to flying in the brilliant light of day and had some trouble!

I flew in Yankee Lady but just – due to a nasty overcast in the State of Pensylvania – also I wonder if you can beat the pretty patchwork quilt of the wheatfields of East Anglia

The Dam Planes didn’t have a mid-upper turret.
