Thieving gits again.

 Seems that nothing is out of bounds to thieving gits, below courtesy of https://www.facebook.com/WarbirdsOnline/

I’m reporting the theft of a number of Warbird items/components from a friend, who for security reasons, I won’t disclose their identity. Some very unscrupulous people broke into this person’s collection and stole the items in the last week. It was a very low act and the Police have been informed and are investigating. However, we are also asking if anybody sees the items offered for sale or has been offered them to purchase, please get in touch with me via Messenger and we will forward the details to the Police unit concerned for their follow up. This is not the first time this collection has had thefts and despite increased security it has happened again. We all need to band together to stop this activity and catch those responsible. Please pass this message on to anybody you know who deals in Aviation memorabilia so they can be on the lookout.

The items concerned are:

1) A reflector Gunsight as fitted to a Hawker Sea Fury with the markings GSS 6310 8B4/2T15

2) A bubble sextant with the markings 325/44

3) P4 Compass with the markings 9482T

I will post more details when they’re available but for now, please let’s keep our eyes open and spread the word.
