The Fly-in was by all accounts a tremendous success. I had planned to go, but was fogged in all day.
180+ aircraft attended. It was, by all accounts, a little chaotic with some pretty ****-poor examples of airmanship and marshalling, but no puppies died. That said it does bode well for the future.
I’m sure Church Fenton and Sherburn (lovely, friendly field) can co-exist perfectly well as long as there is the will on both sides.

And Sherburn in Elmet is only a few miles away.
Are the days of Sherburn numbered? I have heard a rumour that’s its destined to become a housing estate.
