Anyone else think this could be bad news for spotters at PIK?

Hehe good one :diablo: :diablo: :diablo:

Why are these bunch off muppets doing this for?

Simple: Publicity, their “cause” is bettered when it is brought to the general publics attention.
The best thing to do to them…..arrest them, charge them, and at all costs conceal it from the press, then they just get arrested for nothing!

A bunch of knee ‘jerk’ activists from the Faslane peace camp looking for a new ‘Greenham Common’ to further their profile…

Gawd, the thought of little shards of tie-dyed wool stuck to the barbed wire in our PIK shots is the most alarming thought of all. And all because someone finally noticed the USAF don’t just have their ‘own’ bases over here anymore… 😉

If enough people turn up with wire cutters, it’s easy enough to enter most airports in the world. Maybe these people should aim their protests at the US Embassy or at the corporate HQ’s of Atlas Air and the other cargo operators that fly that type of cargo around.. ?

I was going to go after GLA yesterday, but changed my mind, i got an e-mail from someone who works at PIK was telling me there is a heavily increased Police presence at certain areas, but had no probs at the mound, and seen some shots, on another forum, from PIK taken from the mound area i would urge caution as you would at any airport, and should you happen to be walking a hungry rottweiler and see some muppet climb the fence……………… 😀

So far not too bad for spotting/photography, I fear the long-term prospects getting bleaker thanks to these ar**holes 😡

I meant more in terms of no one being allowed to be near the perimeter fence.

Their was a photo thread by someone at GLA yesterday on here, he was planning to go to PIK but because this happened that night also he could go to PIK.
