Well, to cut short this argument that won’t do any good to anyone:
Being ill or not will not dispense anyone to write something sensible, and the amount of smilies should be kept low.
The signature should also be kept as small as possible.
I’ll close this thread before anyone else posts something he/she would regret later.
Expect this thread to be removed very soon.

Perhaps. But if I would out of clear day read a post like that without knowing any details, something what Barry slipped out migth be the first thing to come in my mind….
I agree that what Barry said was rude, expecially after knowing the situation and should be edited out, but It hardly a worth of a ban…
And you cannot honestly suggest that everyone should do search of every members post before posting into any thread whatsoever. THAT would be hyppocrite.

Not being hypocritical at all Gollevainen. I don’t ever recall having suggested that STORMBIRD is an alcohol or drug abuser.
Phil clearly mentions his MS in a number of his previous posts, you only have to look at the search facility. And even if barrythemod was unaware of his condition, is there any reason to accuse STORMBIRD of being drunk or otherwise intoxicated? None whatsoever. It’s just the usual thoughtless and insensitive response encouraged by the anonymity of the internet.

dont be hyppocrate Kev, I for example have been in here a quite a time now, and this was first time I heard of Strombirds illness…and his post was really far for being self-explanatory towards anything…unless if you are aware of his condition.
at least he apoligized in sense…

barrythemod.
“Cheap shot Stephen.
Am I supposed to know every posters history ?”
Two things Sherlock.
One. Who the hell is Stephen?
Two. “I must crash now , M.S. has knackered me again and I am bugggered!!”
Sort of self explanatory isn’t it? Obviously not.
Shouldn’t barrythemod’s derogatory comments be considered as a direct personal attack on STORMBIRD262 and therefore in contravention of the Code of Conduct? Surely, insinuating that someone is an abuser of alcohol and drugs, especially when that person has made it clear on several occasions that they have a serious medical condition, deserves at the very least a suspension if not an outright ban.
barrythemod’s behaviour is nothing short of contemptible and the fact that no action is taken against him reflects badly on Key.

Perhaps if you bothered to read his posts you’d realise that Stormbird’s not “on the sauce”, he’s got MS. Still laughing?
I’m seriously sorry for Stormbird he’s suffering from that, and i do wish all the best to him. But since when is illness an excuse for obnoxious behaviour?

Apart from myself,Kicks,Arthur and Future Pilot were also unaware of Stormbirds probs.I will put him in my “to ignore” list to avoid any future embarrasement.
STORMBIRD262……no malice intended,that’s why I quoted so many Fawlty Towers quotes:cool: .

Stormbird262,untill I see references on G.D to…..
1)A Siberian Filagree Hamster (named Basil).
2)Hotel Inspectors who have a tendency to die during their duties.
3)Views From Bedroom Windows which don’t include herds of wilderbeast roaming majesticaly across the plain.
4)Hitting cars (the classic Mini) with a stolen rose bush, because an important meal has been ruined….
I really can’t see where you’re coming from.

Can anyone make any sense out of that smiley-drivel? Isn’t there a forum regulation about making an effort to write understandable English? If so, one could wonder what this toddler is doing here…
If you are referring to post one, please consider that the poster is not medically well and show a little tolerance and patience.;)

Harsh Arthur……but I must say I do find it hard to read. I’m so tempted to put a smile in here now, but I won’t.
