Boeing recently released improved data performance for the type, which will roll out early next year and enter service in 2006. The aircraft would be capable of flying Singapore-New York with 301 pax and 8170kg of cargo and returning with 301 pax and 7265kg of cargo
The improved performance is the result of flight test amd commercial service experience for the GE90 on the 777-300ER, which had bettered fuel burn performance guarantees. JAL and AF are reportedly gaining a further improvement of 0.8% fuel burn
