i was just wondering if anyone that goes to lba was aware that 1 of the 1st thomas cook 757-300s visited on the 23rd of may.
i should know because i was on it!
the my travel flight 320 was delayed from malaga and they replaced it with the tcx 757. what a damn fine aircraft very smooth.
and hi seen as im new! i love all planes espescially charters and i live close to lba so i visit regularly. i know a couple of other people on here do to

PIDS may have been on a W pattern then or have rotated on Thursday early hours with MCEA – Not sure tho
Interstingly the other day (Thrus evening) there were 5 Eastern a/c on the pan – The 2 based Jetstreams, plus the spare, then a J31 shuttlebuss for crew changes for either BY or MYT – Not sussed out which yet, and an E135 for a private charter to Faro!

Yea it used to rotate between BYNB and C – I have to admit i used to log C more than B. Its now flying with the swedish arm of Britannia as SE-DZN i think…
yea they were delivered factory fresh to LBA after about a week flying in sweden – BY Swapped em for the 2 B752s G-CDUO and CDUP

Hi LBA Rules – welcome to the forum.
The Britannia 738s went to Britannia AB; their Nordic equivalent. 752s came this way in exchange. I recall the 738 having the odd problem at LBA during hot days with full fuel, but, I agree its ashame they have gone.

do you remember the britannia that was based at lba for 2 years? from 2000-2001 g-bynb 737-800 the flying scot a great plane i flew on it 4 times to corfu and back corfu and back bang on time everytime that was a really nice plane any idea whats happened to that because did by get rid of all the 738s?

MYT Based a/c the majority of the time is G-PIDS – This summer is the first time for a based 757 as opposed to A320. BY have now got a Based B762 there – yes 762 G-BYAA – Arrived weds tea time.
Most of the spaniards can be seen over the summer season including IBW, AEA, JKK and HOA, LTE also on Thurs and Fridays – B752 and A321 – Air Luxor are a newbie with A320, and Astraeus operate B733s on Thursdays – errr usual Air Maltas on a Tues, Transavia on tues, and BH Air 3x weekly T154 to Bulgaria off the top of my head…
Tyrolean, BAE Systems and Azzura can also bee seen regularly

and when i flew on myt g-rjgr i thought that was based at lba. but when i went last week i saw g-pids in the new scheme you know the state of play there?
which myt by aea fua iwd if any will be based or rotated between at lba this summer? thanks for any comments
