Hi Folks,
Just booked tickets on Thomas Cook Airlines from Birmingham to Toronto Pearson for next May. To my surprise, I’ve found I’m travelling on a B757! The company selling the seats show the aircraft type operating the flights as a Boeing 757+ but I’m not sure why the “+”?
Don’t get me wrong, I love the 757 (I used to be crew on it so I’d have to!) but not for transatlantic! I didn’t know TCX ever used their 757’s for transatlantic anyway. I remember Airtours (AIH) used to from BHX via Bangor. However, my flights are shown as non-stop too.
The only factor I think will help this, is they’re advertising the most legroom in Economy for any charter airline, stating it will be 35″ with all leather seating. Maybe not so bad after all.
So if anyone knows if these flights will be on a 757-200 or 300, can you let me know? What was also interesting, is that MYT don’t seem to be scheduled to operate any Canada runs from Manchester next Summer for Canadian Affair. They have the LGW-YYZ scheduled again, but nothing ex MAN.
Cheers.
🙂
