Hi all, I’ve been looking for information on this guy for a while now and can find very little about him. I’ve also tried the RAF Commands website to know avail. What I do know is:
+ His service number indicates that he enlisted at Cardington in April 1939
+ The London Gazette has him commissioned on 27/05/1944 and promoted to F/O on 27/11/1944
+ He was posted to No.1690 B(D)TF, probably during February 1945, and was posted from that Unit to RAF Blyton on 18/10/1945 – possibly for demobilisation
I also suspect that he may the chap of this name who was born in Woolwich on 09/11/1921 and died in East Yorkshire during May 2005.
