Thomson 737 Dreamliner livery…

Hi all,

Got a few shots of G-FDZA on departure to Manchester, after being sprayed into Dreamliner livery.

Good set of photos, I like the livery and feel that it really looks good on the 800 ! :):)

Nice photos.

That livery really suits the 737 – the present all blue is pretty awful in my opinion, but I really like that one.

It is actually pretty clever.

I think it was Bmused55 who explained it to me. If you think about standing on a beach on holiday looking out to the horizon. The belly is white to represent the sand of the beach, the upper fuselage a dark blue to represent the water and the lighter blue of the tail is to represent the sky.

I think with the navy blue they are adding now is to represent deeper water.

I could have made all that up.

Nice shots.

The shade of blue on the tail looks a little out of place. Personally I feel it would look better if the tail was the same shade of dark blue as the rear of the fuselage. But then you’d probably have to use a different shade/colour for the tui logo so the colours don’t clash.
