Hi,
Just booked a week in Zante from MAN and was wondering which aircraft “type” would be used on this route?
16th May 2008 – TOM3137 and returning on the 23rd May on TOM3138.
Am i correct in thinking it will be one of their 757’s on this route?? (are they the 757 – 300’s ?)
Cheers

Back from the trip, trip report to follow
Yes, it was the 757-200 with around 2 inch of leg room! 🙂
One intresting thing i saw at Zante airport was a New TOM 737-800 heading to NCL or Brimingham..

Cheers for the input on the above guys,
Well.. im going on Friday from MAN so it should be a good do, trip report will follow… im expecting it to be one of their 757-200’s due to no premium upgrade available which would of meant it would of been a 767.
Cheers

According to Jethros, they are planning to get rid of 6 by 2009, they have already got rid of a couple. This may be because of the amount of 757’s they will be inherting from FCA, or maybe because they want to standardize on a 737 short haul and 787 long haul fleet eventually.

Are Thomsonfly planning on ridding of the 757’s.

What the Thomsonfly 738’s like to ride on ?
Just like any other 737-800 I would imagine, 28″ inch pitch, typical charter service!

I don’t know specific routes, but I think it’s fair to assume that it’ll be covering traditional charter routes to Spain, Cyprus, Canary Islands and Greek Islands.

Isn’t one being used for the NCL services to CUN, SFB and Punta Cana?
I would imagine that a B767-300 is more likely. I don’t know whether G-BYAA and -AB have left the fleet, but I do believe they are destined for Silverjet when they do leave, if they haven’t already left.

Think all 767-200s have now left.

Thomas cook are the only ones … I thought First Choice had them, looks like I was wrong…:o

Thomas Cook are the only UK airline to have the -300 variety (I’ve been on both and will be getting one again on Wednesday).

TOM don’t have the -300 variant, only the -200 version!
