Thomsonfly seems to be the latest airline to charge extra to their customers for hold baggage. For now it will be charged to every customer booking to fly on one of their low fare scheduled routes ie from Doncaster Coventry and Bournemouth and will introduce it onto to every customer booking a flight only from their website. I wouldn’t mind, but there prices dont seem to have become any lower because of it and they are not such a low price airline on many of there routes compared to other airlines in general anyway, so this extra charge among with all the rest is just another money making scheme for them and won’t be passed on to any of their passengers.
What do you guys think, a good idea or not and do you think easyjet may be the next airline to adopt this policy?
