Sure – but what I mean is that there’s no major conurbation like Leeds/Bradford, Greater Manchester or Birmingham near to Finningley.

Rather, it’s towns separated by agricultural belts.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t quite a lot (not all, of course) of the surrounding area agricultural with quite a low population density?

I was thinking off Sheffield, Rotherham etc

Just been looking at schedules and would guess this to be the sectors allocated to each a/c for most days Mon-Fri/Sun from late May:

No.1

0630-1000/1030-1200 PSA
1240-1620/1650-1835 PMI
1915-2130/2155-2215 CDG

No.2

0715-0825/0855-1005 JER
1035-1345/1415-1725 FAO
1755-2200/2230-0025 AGP

No.3

0630-0735/0805-0910 DUB
0950-1245/1315-1425 PRG
1515-1910/1940-2130 ALC

which leaves

0615-0955/1025-1205 VLC to be operated by a 4th aircraft?
