Those magnificent men and their flying machines

Evening all,

Spent an enjoyable day yesterday at a very grey Old Warden for the July Military Pageant. The sun disappeared during the Hurricanes commencing the display and didn’t return, giving me a hard time with the camera. A shame really, as I was particularly looking forward to capturing Peter Teichman’s Spitfire in some sunshine, but it was nevertheless a great show, and with the virtually non-existent wind, the Edwardians came out to play for the first time this year, naturally stealing the show. Special mention goes to the Blackburn B2 and Hawker Demon, who both put on especially spirited routines.
