I mentioned in a thread on ‘Spitfire Ace’ that they had done an interview on film with Frank Nutkins, father of our curator, re his view of the BoB from the ground (Woolwich/Plumstead), but that this was not used in the programme.
Anyway, I emailed RDF, and I’m pleased to say that they are copying his interviews, and their footage of our museum (the wrecked aircraft engines you saw were ours) onto VHS, which they’re sending to us free of charge.
So a big thank you to RDF.

Yes, now you mention it, I wonder if they have more interviews with other civilians or CD workers? Perhaps they intended to have the veterans plus those who saw the battle from the ground in the programme, but dropped the idea for some reason.
Why don’t you email RDF & see what they say about putting them on the DVD?
