Happy New Year to you all.
As far as the nations of Europe are concerned, this year is going to be a year of difficulties and defence will need to play it’s part in overcoming these.
The UK has already been though a defence review and it may yet be amended before the next scheduled SDR in 2015.
France has a Presidential election so we may not see much movement this year, whereas Spain, Italy and Greece for example are looking at savings.
India should shortly decide on its fighter purchase, while Brazil and some Gulf states are looking at making decisions too.
Does anyone have thoughts as to what 2012 will bring?
