It took them 40 hours to find a plane that crashed within 30 seconds flying time of the airport ???

Given that they must have known the approximate direction it was heading that seems staggering…

The writ also claims the altimeter gave a false reading of the aircraft’s height

Surely thats the airlines responsibility to maintain the avionics and not Boeings, also aren’t the Altimeters checked during the checklists?

launched legal action against manufacturer Boeing accusing it of operating a “dangerous” aircraft.

Was it not operated by Kenya Airways??

I think the families need to push to get that report out first to find out the reasons behind the crash before looking at sue’ing anyone.

Meh, nothing out of the ordinary.
The manufacturer always gets sued and looses after each crash or incident of any particular model of aircraft.
