Does anyone have any pictures as well as a description of how the thrust vectoring nozzles on the Su-30MKI and the new Su-35 prototype are actually operated by the pilot, in the cockpit? What sort of control mechanisms exist in the cockpit in order for the pilot to utilize that feature of their aircraft?
I know that the nozzles can be directed independently, and I’m very curious to know how difficult it is to use thrust vectoring engines. How much is left to the fly-by-wire computers, how much is in the control of the pilot, are the nozzles tied into the motions of the stick or rudder pedals etc…
