I saw the wreckage of a crashed Tiger at Panshanger, I guess around then, so it sounds like it must have been that one.

N9191 became G-ALND on 12.4.49. It crashed at Panshanger on 8.3.81 seriously injuring the pilot. It was for restoration with Arrow Air Services but has not flown since. It was registered with the current owner in Abergevenny on 1.2.90 and was reported on rebuild in 1996. Hope this is of some help.
