Good on yer. He’s still around you know – lives in London (the posh bit). His brother served on the same wing – the only 2 German fighter pilots flying with the RAF I think. His brother lives in New Zealand.

It is indeed. Do you have the special edition DVD? If so, there are interviews etc. One of them is with Ken Adam, the production designer. Jewish German Ex-609 Tiffy RP pilot and bloody good bloke.
