As a great enthusiast of the Tipsy designs, my goal is to collect as many pictures as possible for my personal collection. Can you help?
If I would use them on my website (http://www.tipsy-histories.com), I will off course ask first and credit them.
Thanks

I’m not really a fan of the Nipper but the Belfair is lovely.

Tipsy
I was lucky enough to fly ‘PIE at Sherburn in about 1959 when Reg Walters, the owner, risked letting me loose on it.
Later on I flew the Tipsy B and was part-owner of a Nipper.
Without climbing into the loft to get at my log-books I think it was G-ARBP, but I may be wrong. All of them fun to fly.

…and from the ‘AR’ Archives come G-ASXI at Cranfield 2/7/88, G-AVTB at Wroughton 26/6/87 and G-AWJE (love the eyes! ) also at Cranfield 2/7/88.

I also had the luck to fly with David in his Belfair some years ago.
It looks great after its overhaul don’t you think? 🙂

I was lucky enough to fly in the worlds only flying example of the Tipsy Belfair a few weeks ago. Absolutely stunning aeroplane.
