To Equip a Home for Wealthy People in the 30s – but With What?

Hi all,

no wonder architects like to work for the upper class for expecting them to properly pay. So one, I don’t remember who exactly, thought besides a garage for a luxurious car a hangar for a private plane is needed as well. In the picture attached, you see the result. While there is no problem in naming the Pierce Arrow Silver Arrow sedan, the aircraft gives me headaches.

The sesquiplane configuration tells it must be a Brunner-Winkle Bird. But the big tailfin says it is a Fairchild KR-34.

Now the question is: what do YOU say? Thank you for every answer!

Best regards,
RT

Okay, Duggy1, I am going to store it as the Fairchild. Obviously I fall victim to some kind of optical effect that seems to produce a shorter lower wing.

Thank you.

Sure looks like a Fairchild KR-34 to me.
