Today at Birmingham!

Hi all, well me and Jon (BHXlocal) decided to make the trip down to Sheldon Park at the 15 threshold today. Weather was bloody greay and overcast and rather chilly to begin with! but it sooned brightened up and turned into a rather productive day :D.

While hanging around during the more quieter periods we attracted the attention of two cops on bikes, instead of inquiring about our presence we had a good conversation with them but in the process missing the SAS Q400 arrive overhead! it would be rude to run off with our cameras to get a good angle picture so we staryed put :diablo: .

Anyway enough about that and on with the pictures….. 😎 !

Here’s Jon at work with AI188 arriving from Toronto, you can see how porr the weather was to begin with.

At about 1pm we decided to move around the airport perimiter and after some long walking we find a rather nice new spot :D, only managed to get one good shot as we didn’t stay for long but that’s where we’re heading next time!

Great work Tom, especially the last shot! Touch downs make for some of my favourite photos, and they’re also very fun to take.
