According to ‘The Battle of Britain – Then and Now’ Luftwaffe combat losses on 10th July 1940 are:
Destroyed:
Bf109 – 1
Do17 – 3
He111 – 1
Bf110 – 2
Damaged:
Bf109 – 2
Do17 – 3
Bf110 – 2
RAF combat losses were:
Destroyed:
Hurricane – 1
Damaged:
Hurricane – 4
Spitfire – 5
The aircraft lost were easily replaceable of course, the more telling statistic and the more tragic would be the aircrew killed or wounded.

Pretty sure I do – I think that the one on the right is FO Percy Burton of 249 Sqn, KIA 27 Sep 1940. Buried at Tangmere.

It was interesting to read (what I assume is) a period news account of the day’s action.
How well do the RAF claims (14 victories plus 23 damaged) hold up to the numbers accepted today?
BTW: seeing photos of Meaker and Burton are haunting considering they would not live to see the end of the battle. RIP gentlemen.
