This afternoon a large piece of a WW2 downed Mosquito was put on show in our museum.Still surviving in a reasonable condition it shows clearly that the inside of the wing was painted in a glossy white. The wing is severall meters long ( 4 or 5 meters) BW Roger

Amazing piece of art – you should enter it into the Turner Prize (UK modern art competition). Actually, it really would look good in an art gallery.

We have a fortress with 30 plus or so rooms full with WW2 aircraft wrecks. Think it is one of the worlds largest aviation archeology museums (if not the largest). If you do an internet search for Fort Velduis you’ll get a lot of hits on the collection. BW Roger
