Todays Flight PIA (LBA-ISB) Whats going on?

My mates on that flight, dropped him off, he checked in and I saw him off. Flight was meant to leave at 9.30 but its being delayed to 11.30 at the earliest. They’ve given out £8 food vouchers, and told them the flight has been delayed due to ‘Technical Issues’ with the Aircraft A310-300. Can anybody shine a light on the technical issues?

Strong but true.

Looks like someone needs to read the site owners’ Code of Conduct before they post in here again, particularly item 5.

Aircraft came on stand with a fuel leak! Same aircraft and same leak as saturday night. All operations stop and fire service assess the situation.
As the same as saturday night the aircraft cant take as much fuel on as required to go to ISB so they have to stop in DXB.

The flight left at about 1210 Tuesday morning.

This is getting stranger. I was listening to the PIA on the radio and it said something about Dubai and I was like WTF. I rang up my mate and he says there having a two hour stop in Dubai. Anyone know why?

I’d need to see the proof before believing you I’m afraid. By all means, feel free to provide it! 🙂

Yeh will if you look at the other older aircrafts, they are owned by richer companies and owners. Good old PIA is owned by the crappy Pakistani govnerment.

There are older aircraft in the air that don’t have the same problems. I’m not pointing the finger at PIA and saying their maintenance is sub standard, but the number of incidents there have been since the LBA service started does make you wonder what’s going on!

I think thats because their A310-300 are old and outdated (from my own experience). Really need to get some new ones but they don’t have the funding. Which BA would start the LHR-ISB route again, but can’t see that happening for a few hundred years yet lol.

I believe the incident involves a fuel leak but don’t quote me on that! It has to be said, the PIA service seems to have been a catalogue of cockups since it started!
