Todays identify this lesson….Oxygen bottles

…Not the larger fitted ones, but walk-around, or the emergency oxygen supply type.
Now I am in possesion of one or two such items, the others were found at crash sites, but this particular one was bought at a aerojumble. I am after clues to what year this is from.

On the regulator,the marks: Mk1X C 6D/915
on the clip or holding bracket, 6D/1280
Regulator, 6D/227
Valve tap MOD/6207
Supply indicator gauge, LAL/R/6..58
and these numbers apear on the actual neck of the steel bottle itself,
8120/99/1942/6941 RT08

Hi Denis

Although not an expert on these bottles, I would think yours may well date from 1942 with various mods performed thereafter.
