So true, by the time you do the launch, the raid, the damage, and the meeting up and return, you have stretched it to 1.30 plus

When did a short story ever deter a filmmaker from a full 90 minute work of fiction?
Like so often it will use the facts as a basis for a semi-fictional imagining.

Welcome, I can’t see how they could make the ‘meeting’ into a film though. In the book it covers Franz learning to fly the meeting with Charlie and then his later career and life. I doubt more than 10% of the book covers the event.
