also what the seats like are they leather ?
The seats recline at 35 degrees, there are floor stools below the front seats which comfortably fit a size 11 shoe or lower, the outer fabric to the seat is colour fast nylon and should be washed at below 40 degrees, the tray in front of the seat is 18 inches by 13 inches and should fit a plastic detached meal tray from the attendants trolley not exceeding 16 inches by 12 inches, the circumfrance of any drinking vessel served to you will not exceed 3.45 inches in diameter at any one time. Most of the seating and passenger tray’s are made in compilance with British safety standard 445 and comply with schedules 766 i) and iii) of the European safety regulations sub paragraphs iiv) and iixx). I hope his helps with the information you are looking for and answers the questions you were seeking. Have a plesant trip Tommy, thank goodness there are forum members who can answer all these questions!

On the last Thomson 737 on which I flew (about 4 years ago) the IFE consisted of a steward giving an impression of a very bad comedian.

Didn’t DSA have a 757 based once and also a 767 doing the Ibiza route ?
Well im flying on the Monday it says 733 im just wondering if it may changed to a 738 WL.
They may have in the past had a 757 based really couldn’t tell you! I know TOM do put there widebodys on some of the European Runs in the summer but again im not sure if IBZ is one of them!
If the IBZ flight is set for 733 thats pretty much what you’ll be getting!

Why not try the first link on Google, Tommy…
http://www.aerospaceweb.org/question/performance/q0229.shtml.
Either that or you could look up about it on a site such as A.net under their aircraft data section.
Hope this helps.;)

what is longest
A commercial airliner can travel without refueling ? for example i think the A340-600 has the biggest range and can go for 18 hours.

I am wondering if my flight will be on the winglet 733 ?
When is G-FDZT due, im wondering what DSA are having based anyway this summer ? last year was 2 733’s and 1 738 WL. Is this summer the same ?
Like i said they only have one 733W, I doubt its been decided where she is to be based come the summer, they normally get moved about a bit.
G-FDZT is due i think towards the middle of the summer not sure.
As far as im aware that will it will be the same aircraft types based at DSA this summer! With a 767 postioning in to operate Long Haul.

IBZ MON 18:35 22:30 MON 733 1500 TOM3148 weekly 19 24/05/2010 27/09/2010
it surely can’t take nearly 3 hours to Ibiza can it ?
I thought Thomson were getting rid of the 737-300’s anyway.
Its called block times, it means the flights either get to the destination early, or if they depart late, they can still arrive on time by catching up with themselves during the flight.
To answer Air Fares question, in what sense are they expensive? They are not just another Lowcost airline, look at Ryanair and Easyjet. Completely different so how do you mean?
By: tommyinyork - 23rd March 2010 at 23:50
Why are air fayre’s so expensive with EZY
Seriously it costs alot more to book with EZY than Thomson, jet2, Thomas Cook, Ryanair, Monarch.
I mean they aren’t anything special, just another average low cost airline.

Well they have nearly finished the 757’s im wondering if the 767’s and Airbuses will get the blue treatment for summer ?
As far as im aware the Plan is to get all the 767’s fitted with Winglets, so im guessing they will just get painted in Due Course. They all have “Operated by Thomsons” stickers on them at the moment Next to Doors 2!

I have booked yes actually booked a flight from DSA-IBZ-DSA on 5th July.
I know i am flying on a 737-300 series but im wondering if it will be winglet or non winglet series.
Im also confused regarding flight time as it says 2 hours 55 minutes, im sure Ibiza is not that far.
Also on web ana avation site some Doncaster flights show us 73c, what does that mean ? I know 73H is a 737-800.
TOM only have one 737-300W My fav 737 G-THOO, at the moment she is working out of Dublin, with the odd trip to DSA on W patterns! Aint got a clue where she will be based come the Summer season.
73C i think proberly stands for a 737 but yet to be confirmed what version

You have got to be joking??? Jet2.com have 23 737’s in there fleet! They change them round the bases on a regular basis! You really want us to look into our cystal balls and tell you the exact AirFrame your going to be flying on in 6 Months Time! Seriously??????
In my experiences all of There 737’s have the same capacity that includes the QC aircraft!
He knows this, lukey. He just wishes to brag, constantly, about how many holidays he goes on every year!
