Tonal

If I’m not mistaking there used to be an European attackhelicopterproject under the name ‘Tonal’. GB, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain participated and would buy it. It was base on the A-129. It never got very far and there’s no need for it anymore.
What went wrong with this program? When and why did it stop?
