TonyT in Hospital

Just had a call from TonyT, It would appear he had pains in his chest Monday, but ignored them. Today, they came back again, together with pains in his arm. He was whisked off to Hospital in Derby, (Don’t ask me which one, cos the call was very quick) He has ECGs taken and tests done, it would seem he had scarring on his heart, and it was on Monday, a minor Heart attack which came back today with a vengance. I don’t know much more, but they are keeping him in for 5 days, and upon his release, he will be having a week off work. Further invasive things are going to be done whilst he is in there.
His cellphone battery is nearly flat, so he could not say any more.
I am sure all of us would like to send Tony our best wishes, and for a swift recovery.
I did ask him to see if any of the Staff could, or did have a suitable battery charger he could use, so he could let me know how things are progressing. If he can, then I will update, as and when.
All the best buddy, (It’s only pain…:D)
Jim.

🙂

Getting better, losing weight and exercising, but limited to 15 min walks at the moment which to be honest isenough as having breathers along the way, rest of plumbing work due in 6 weeks to try to unblock the blocked supplies

I haven’t heard a rasher query than the one to buy my unused bacon :p

Bloody hell, I seem to have missed something while I’ve been away!

Tony, glad that you seem to be on the mend; best wishes for a speedy recovery!

PS: How much do you want for the bacon?

Too late Warren, he gave it away to a passing Muslim…………………:D

At home, resting for a couple of days then going to work on getting fitness up, ordered lots of food today, making like a squirrel, lots of nuts and things interspersed with rabbit food and some proteins.

Thanks everyone for the kind thoughts, John will call you probably tomorrow…

For sale two packs unopened Bacon 😀

Well, It seems like Tony will be back home today, and I am sure he will himself, keep us in the picture as what develops over the next few weeks.
I know there are some folks who run the N.H.S. down, with all the money it costs, however, where in the World could one get the kind of treatment as Tony received for FREE?.

Latest is had three stents in worst tube, one with a little blockage left as 20% below the percentage to deal with
, will be back in to try to unblock the blocked one in about 6 to 8 weeks, I might escape today 🙂

All the best Tony – sounds like they caught it in time. Time to get the scalpel out yourself, and do some modelling!

Just spoken to Tony, and he has had a good nights sleep, with no after effects from his Op yesterday. He is on Asprin, and Statins, and other Tabs, and will be on some for the rest of his life. He is hoping when the Drs, do the Rounds, he will be discharged today.

Just had Tony on the phone. He has had his Op, and is sitting in the Recovery room. He had just one Stent put into his heart, they decided that the other one was not as bad as they thought,so no 2nd Stent was needed. The totally blocked one, they are leaving as it is. It wouls appear that the blocked one has been like that for 10yrs. He seems very well in himself, and was awake whilst they went in Via his wrist to carry out the procedure. :very_drunk:
