Too Many Muslims On Board…

Taken from Airliners.Net

‘Turkish papers are reporting an incidence on TK1 serving JFK from Istanbul. Looks like an American passenger , named Daniel Sussman Pincus, voiced his concerned about the security of the flight with too many Middle Eastern and Muslim looking people on board. When he voiced his concerns in a loud and distrubtive matter, law enforcement was called in and the plane had to be searched.

A340 departed with 2h30mins of delay.’

So, if the story is accurate, we have a US citizen aboard a Turkish airliner flying from Turkey to the USA scared out of his wits by the number of Middle Eastern and Moslem looking people on board.

What sort of people did he expect to see on this Turkish airliner flying from Turkey to the USA?

The word “onanist” is flitting across my mind for some inexplicable reason.

You beat me to it!

What an utter fool, what was he expecting?

Sadly this is happening more often these days…the crazy thing is the actual men who performed the September 11 attack were dressed up like normal westerners with short hair.

Yes, I am saying that it’s mostly the people of the Western World who tend to have a prejudice against people and a lot of people tend to make remarks based on race which all seem to have negative connotations attached to them.

Take this for example: Should I be called a “let down” by a member of my external family because he saw me talking to one of my school friends who is from Iran? No, I shouldn’t.

“White” people who are against people of the muslim world, and i’m not saying ALL Western World people are, but, if people are they should wake up and see the fact that today is now and now has to change!

How incredibly disgusting and incredibly ignorant!

If he was in a foreign country and so afraid of the locals.. what on earth was he doing there? Or are those “scarey” people not allowed to fly anymore?

Stupidity it seems has reached a new level in society…..

I think post 9/11 you’re just going to have to wear that sort of thing as a common occurrence i’m afraid

I think you’ll find that ignorance and stupidity were invented long before 11/9/01.

It doesn’t make either of them any more acceptable.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what colour skin we have or whether we read the bible or the torah

I was once lambasted for reading The Beano whilst awaiting a flight to Jersey from GLA. I was only 11 at the time, but apparently even then it wasn’t cool…:diablo:

Let me see if I understand you, only those brought up in the Western World engage in this kind of prejudice?

Seems to me as if you are the one engaging in pre-judgement, against your own western culture, and because of one idiot. I often wonder why we in the west are seemingly always ready to believe the worst about ourselves? Human nature being what it is, I would think that there would be sufficient numbers of idiots such as Mr. Pincus throughout the world, spread in relatively equal percentages.

Yip, ignorance isn’t the exclusive right of ‘the white man’. But this particular white man, does seem to be gilding the lily somewhat.

What more do you expect. It’s horrible to say this, but people who have been brought up in the “Western World” treat people inferior due to their race or religion. IT’S STUPID! At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what colour skin we have or whether we read the bible or the torah, we are all still people in our own rights, we all have the capability to feel fear and to suffer prejudice and pain. This just proves to me why so many muslim students in my school stick to people of their own race. Because most of the other kids will judge them, simply because of the way in which they dress. It’s pathetic.

I personally have a respect for people of all race and I don’t judge people from any circumstances. Obviously though, I think that the whole concept of a fight against the “muslim world” which seems to have been created post 9/11 is stupid and is due to the simple-minded idiots of the Western World. 😉

Who’d have thought it! Letting foreign looking people on a plane to a foreign country! Next they’ll be letting them drive cars and vote

Perhaps time could have been saved had they just escorted Mr Pincus off.

Sheesh!
