Tornado Emergency Landings…

Hi everyone,

Yesterday there were two Tornados that had to do emergency landings due to bird strikes. Both of these incidents were independant from one another. One was at RAF Leeming and the other was at Newcastle Airport. I have no information on the one at Leeming but the one at Newcastle was a GR4 and even over-ran the runway causing Newcastle to halt flights for quite some time. Most diversions going to Durham-Tees Valley Airport!

Any ideas what Sqn these a/c are from??
