dark light

Tornado Gr1 on M62 this morning.

The morning drive to work was brightened up today by seeing a Tornado Gr1 on the back of a lorry. It was in 617 squadron markings and the Dk sea grey/Dk Green scheme, a quick google and it seems to be the Hendon one?

It was heading towards Manchester on the M62 coming from the Yorkshire direction, could it have been to Elvington maybe ?

It was ZA399 on its way or leaving Jet Art aviation. Just found it in the August issue Of fly past

Cheers for the replies, all those look to be in the same markings I saw, but the Dk sea grey was faded so I’m guessing it was a gate guardian or had been out side.

Reported elsewhere as being on an industrial estate in Cheshire is ZA399/AJ-C ;
