Tornado throttle quadrants

Are all Panavia Tornado throttle quadrants the same, or are there visual differences depending on the variant such as F.3 & GR.4 etc? If they are different how can you tell what model one is from?

Thank you, much abliged peppermint_jam. Just out of interest if wanted to identify a particular box would you know what variant it came from if I came up with a number?

Maybe try modern military, the aircraft is still current after all.

Can not provide an answer but the model makers go to great lengths to research the cockpit details so you could try over on Britmodeller.

Thanks Rob, so I’m guessing that the part number with the last three digits ‘441’ makes it GR.4 then. In which case I wonder what ‘443’ would of come from?

This one on eBay says GR4 and has the part number in one of the pics – if the 731 is still with it you might be able to confirm aircraft type to part number.

Part numbers are different as are the NSN’s, but as for fit form and function, they are probably the same.

Just bumping this up. I’d of thought there would be one or two Tornado afficianados on here that might be able to post an answer?!

I was asking the same – a couple of ‘cheap’ examples about at the moment.

They look the same in basic form to me – pt no / nsn may show different?
