Toulouse Diary

Hi there!

I’m a newbie here but I know some of you. Maybe we even pass each other at Cazaux Spotterday or for the A380 maiden flight 😉

Let me introduce myself : I’m an aviation enthusiast (what the hell I’m doing here?! :p ) and I work in the aviation industry in Toulouse. I’m practicing photography and I would like to share some of my pics with you.

So what about a little diary here, with pictures from Toulouse : deliveries, flight tests, exclusive shots, some surprises, etc…?

Let’s startwith what could be called a real beauty!
The special “Orchids” A330-300 was delivered to China Airlines on friday last week. Hope you’ll like it!

Wide -1800pix- View

Are 1024pix wide pictures ok for you guys? Do you prefer thumbnails?

Steph,

The pictures on this thread are, by any standard, excellent.

But this is now a very large thread indeed and could cause performance/bandwidth issues for some users.

Would you mind starting a new thread for 2008?

Thanks

GA

Thanks!

What engines are on the China and Hainan A330’s ? They look like over-sized RR’s…

Rolls-Royce Trent700 engines.

By the way, you can have a slightly better view on what came in front of my photo lens by downloading and playing my slideshow.
It’s here : Airliners2007

(or through my PhotoBlog http://www.konnek-t.com/dotclear/index.php/2007/10/06/90-retrospectives )

It runs on PC (.exe), it’s 100% virus-free, almost 90% fat-free (A380 inside!:p ) and is 4min long.

Excellent shots, Steph.

My attention has been drawn to the China Eastern A330 though, posted some months ago. After my trip on one a week and a half ago, it has sentimental value. :p

It’s me again. It’s been pretty calm here these days, and the weather was not so fine. In addition to the fact that I was a little bit diverted from the flying things, I don’t have many shots to show you.

Nevertheless, weather permitting, there are still some things to do around the runways! 😉
Playing with colors, for example…
