Decided to go to London of Sunday 22nd September to catch hopefully some of the open house events and the last stage of the Tour of Britain. Unfortunately all what I wanted to see open house wise was 3 hour queues plus. So instead we decided to have a good walk around then set up position somewhere on the route.
I found the general grey day gave a lot of lighting issues, and I have never photographed a similar event before. We were lucky enough to be able to move around the route a bit to different positions which made it more interesting. I decided to stay in totally manual settings but hopefully achieved something worthwhile.
All in all a great day out and great atmosphere in London too.

There is no doubting that lycra has taken over the roads since Bradley Wiggins and co made riding bikes trendy again.

Thanks Jim for the kind comments, it was certainly interesting to photograph and really a great atmosphere from the crowd too.

Once again Martin, you have “captured the moment”. Excellent bit of photography, which even a professional would be proud of. Well done, thanks for sharing, and keep em coming.:D
