I had a long look over her up at Coventry at the first “Airbase” day, lovely old thing this and if I’m right, a WW 2 combat veteren in her original RAF Ventura days?

I’m really peeved I haven’t seen this in the air!

It was running up and doing what looked like ground handling and engine checks at Coventry on Saturday, but still hadn’t taken to the air by the time I left.

I had a little poke around it when it was outdoors a couple of weeks ago, and even though its American, and the engines are wrong (they’re air cooled and round :diablo: ) it’s a gorgeous beast.

It’s got to be because its twin tailed. Thats all I can think of.

Surprised, thought it had already emmigrated to the States after being worked on at Coventry, N500LN. 🙂
